Google’s Picasa Defaced

Apparently, even Google-owned product sites aren't above being hacked. Picasa, the image management software recently purchased by Google, was defaced this past weekend.

According to Zone-H.org, Brazilian hacker Xfaulz defaced Picasa's website, Picasa.com. Xfaulz' attack makes Picasa the first Google-owned site to be defaced. However, unlike Google's other properties, Picasa's hosting server isn't part of the Google network.

Xfaulz exploited a "highlight parameter processing vulnerability in phpbb2…" Thanks to Andy Beal for the heads up.
