I think this is the funniest thing I've read all day, but something tells me Jason Dowdell isn't joking.
He says that everything is falling into place for it to happen, what with Facebook asking for $2 billion and Google getting $2.1 billion in its secondary public offering.
He is joking, right? I hope so, but I'll keep on chuckling…
Digger: Don't be ridiculous!
Maybe that could be Google's new motto!
But seriously, Google is super-careful about its purchases. Considering that there's still a decent shot MySpace was overpriced at $580 mil, Google wouldn't pay four times as much for one-fourth the traffic. Maybe Viacom will, but Google's not that stupid.
